Join ManClub in our efforts to stop the stigma on men's mental health
For most of his life , one of our founders, Joe, has struggled with mental health and being able to access the support needed. This has been a struggle many have felt, whether its someone who needs the support, or loved ones surrounding them seeing their family member or friend struggle in silence. Then, in June 2024, we lost our friend Craig Riley (pictured) to suicide. This had a profound effect on many people in the area. and fully highlighted the need for a group to be formed to help men struggling. So Joe, along with his mum Alison, felt they needed to be proactive in helping those in need - from that, ManClub was born. Our local community of Melbourne fully supported the initiative, and helped to get the charity off the ground with donations from businesses, individuals and other organisations.
At ManClub, we strive to provide a safe and informal space for men to talk openly. Our focus is on changing the conversation and attitudes towards men's mental health, and making a lasting impact. Discover what our efforts are aiming to improve, and hopefully how we will help save lives today.
